An action is a folder within the Spark component. Each action in Spark represents a situation that can occur on the installation’s front-facing website (E.g. New Contributions are made, New Recurring Contributions are made, Record types are added/removed, etc.). If that situation does occur on the website, the events inside the action folder will be executed.
