Advocacy

Advocacy is a comp[](https://sitestacker.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/151000096724)onent on the Site Stacker admin portal. Advocacy allows visitors of your site to create a separate page for a missionary or project while still contributing to the missionary or project’s main fund. Advocacy uses the term “campaign” when front-facing, and often initiates when the visitor clicks “Start a Campaign” on a missionary or project. Individual modules for advocacy are added to pages in Site Planner.

To illustrate advocacy, a project’s goal maybe $10,000, but a particular church may set a personal goal of raising $1000 for it. The church can create an advocacy campaign for this project and share its URL among church attendees. When $1000 has been donated on the church’s advocacy page, its progress bar will completely fill, while the project’s main page will show that there remains $9000 to still raise in total.
