An event is a piece of the Spark component located in the actions folders. Events are set with conditions that must be met in order to fire. 

Events can fire many different types of actions, such as assigning tasks in Motion 2, changing record types, sending messages, and more.

Events are depicted with a yellow lightning bolt symbol.
