An external ID is an identifier of your choosing that you can assign to many items across Site Stacker, including person records, contributions, and more. An external ID is not to be confused with an ID, which is the identifier Site Stacker assigns to an item and is not typically changed by the user. External IDs are viewable by adding the “External ID” column to any grid.
