A role is a placeholder for a user’s interaction with a Motion 2 workflow. Many tasks in a workflow are assigned to a role, and a user fills a role to complete tasks in the workflow (assigned on the user’s dashboard). Certain tasks may not yet be available to the user until other conditions have been met. Users often need to belong to a particular group before they can be assigned a role. In Motion 2, roles are organized into primary roles and secondary roles.
