How to Force a Content Type to Forced Recurring

There is a way for in Site Stacker to force a Content Type to forced recurring. This use case is mostly used for child sponsorship in which organizations would want sponsorships to be defaulted to a recurring transaction.

To force a Content Type to recurring:

• Click the Contributions component.

• Click the Categories tab found on the left side of the window.
• Right-click on the category and click Edit.

You should be able to see different checkboxes on Recurring. Here is what each recurring option means:

Default to Recurring - This is to set the campaigns in this content type to default to recurring on the Checkout page. The donor can still uncheck the recurring box to make it not a recurring donation on the checkout page.

Force Recurring - This will force the campaigns in this content type to be recurring transactions without the ability for the donor to choose not to make this a recurring donation on the Checkout page.

Recurring Fixed Amounts - This is to set fixed recurring amounts depending on the recurring types. For example, an amount can be different for monthly recurring and yearly recurring.
