Manage Peer-to-Peer Giving (Advocacy)
Click on the Advocacy component under Giving.
From the Campaigns link on the primary menu, identify any campaigns that are Awaiting Approval.
Right-click the campaign to preview it, edit it, and when ready to publish it. Publishing will give it full visibility on your website.

Open “Contributions”.
Locate the gift entry you wish to reverse in the “Transactions View” tab, right-click it, and click “Reverse” from the pop-up menu.
A dialog box will ask you to confirm the Reversal. Remember, this cannot be undone so proceed with caution.
Verify and save.
The result will be a new “reversal” transaction being created deducting the same amount as the original transaction, in essence, “zeroing it out”.

What is Historic Giving?
Historic Giving is where all of the gifts ever given, refunded, etc. live.

Here you can see them each as line items, marked red if they do not have a receiving person. You can sort these by each column, whether it is by the name of the donor, the receiving person, gift types, etc. There are filters as well if you click on the Menu / Search bar off to the left-hand side where you can sort between dates, amounts, locations, and by name.Few readersRefund a Credit Card or ACH Gift

Open “Contributions”.
Click “Reports” from the main Contributions Menu.
Select your filter criteria for the report in the “Menu/Search” bar on the left.
The results of your selection will automatically be displayed in the data grid. From here you can “Print Report”, “Email Report”, or “Create a Recurring Report” which result in automated emails of this report being sent out as desired.

Open “Contributions”.
The first tab reveals a data grid of all giving transactions. A transaction is the total amount given, and every transaction has at least one designation but can also have many designations.
The second tab reveals a data grid of all “Campaign” designations. This tab helps you see a granular view of what is being given to, one designation at a time.

If your organization is experiencing credit card phishing, here are some helpful tips you can check to help prevent fraudulent activities.
Make sure your campaigns are set with a minimum amount. Usually, bots that do the phishing either push $1 donations to test if the cards can go through successfully. Setting up a minimum amount higher than $1 can help prevent those bots from even attempting. The Progress bar that shows in the Campaign detail page when a Goal Amount is set, by default, is getting the data from Contributions. However, this can be configured so it gets the data from Historic Giving instead. This is useful for cases where gifts towards the project are imported manually as historic gifts. The Contributions component is the hub of your transaction-related data. You can find individual transaction information, recurring transactions, failed and successful messages, etc. When opening the Contributions component, you will be shown the Transaction view by default.
Exporting
You can export your current grid and query by choosing the “Export as CSV” option at the bottom of the component.
