Refund a Credit Card or ACH Gift
- Open “Contributions”.
- Locate the Online gift you wish to refund in the “Transactions View” tab, right-click it, and click “Refund” from the pop-up menu.
- A dialog box will ask you to confirm the Reversal. Remember, this will result in a real refund from your bank back to their account and it cannot be undone so proceed with caution!
- Verify and save.
- The result will be a new “refund” transaction being created deducting the same amount as the original transaction, in essence “zeroing it out”.
